She later went on to pursue a MPH-Epidemiology and spent 2 months in Rwanda interning with WHO, working alongside with the Ministry of Health to work on maternal and child health projects. During her medical school career she was involved in local community service projects and spent a week with her medical school’s mission trip in El Salvador. She is currently part of the global health track in her residency program and hopes to continue contributing to health care locally and overseas in her homeland of Ghana.
